There are two software programs required for wFIS processing.  One is the browser, used to enter the information on the web site and two, Adobe Reader to view the finished certificates.  These programs are free and can be loaded from the links shown on this page.

WaterCrest will also help you load the software on your system with phone support from our technical staff.

The Browser Software:
Properly updating your browser should not affect your email account settings and files.  With care you should not lose any information.

If you have Internet access, check the browser version by clicking on the Help button of the Main Menu Bar of your browser.  It may look like this.

Then click on the About option and find the version number in the text.

If you are using Internet Explorer (IE) you should have at least IE Version 5.5.  If needed, click the Internet Explorer button to update your current version.

If you are using Netscape, you should be at version 6.1 or above.  If needed, click the Netscape button to update your current version.

The Adobe Reader Software:
To view your your completed flood certificates, you need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Click the Get Acrobat Reader button and download the newest version to your workstation.

The last thing you need is an account from WaterCrest Flood to allow you to log onto the web site processing forms.  Click here to setup your WaterCrest Flood wFIS account.
